Diamond Necklace- Its rarely that wen we see afilm, we connect with the charaters in it..we laugh n cry at the right time as the director intended.DN is one such gem of a film which has Lal jose stamp all over it who presents various complex plots in the most simple n entertaining manner.Its tells the story of NRI youths lured to the expensive lifestyle of Dubai.It also exposes the reality in man...y kerala houses where the relatives of a girl are over enthusiastic to marry her to NRIs without knowing much about them but just satisfied about his family status alone...and finally escapes from the scene wen the girl needs any help.It also gives the message that youth should have the courage to tell their mind to the parents without succumbing to any pressure,financial or emotional.
The script is so engaging n the characters are well etched that the actors were able to give their best.Fahad is at his best n got oppportunity to show various range of emotions.All 3 girls are good..but i liked the Tamil nurse(Gouthami Nair) as I felt for her character more.
Vidyasagar always keeps his best for his favourite director n other technical aspects are top notch.But the climax seems to be a forced one to give a feel good factor.
DN is one of the most touching moviesin recent and the best this year(after EAK) which gives some incredible moments for us.
